A-List’s Top Ten Downtown Happy Hour Spots

It’s everyone’s favorite time of day. It’s that time of day where you can forget about all the stress at work; where you can let your hair down, be casual, have a drink or two and a bitealist circle to eat.

It’s happy hour of course!

Your favorite gals over at A-List Introductions have got you covered with the best happy hour spots in Columbus. We love sharing our favorite places, and what better way to connect with friends or someone special than over an after-work beverage?

  1. Factory on Fourth – 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Formerly known as Cray Eatery,  Restaurant Impossible re-branded Factory on Fourth into an unstoppable force. Located on 4th Street in Italian Village, Factory on Fourth  has a killer combination for happy hour. Their specials include $3.50 craft beer, $3 well drinks, $2 Miller Lite pitchers and domestic bottles, plus their daily food specials.

  1. Condado Tacos – 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

A unique Mexican spot known for their delicious tacos and margaritas, it’s obvious that their happy hour specializes in that. During happy hour, their margaritas are half price, and tacos are a dollar off too! Major score!

  1. Bodega – 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm

It’s only fitting that this hip gastropub right down the street from Condado makes our list. Bodega is always a busy spot on High Street, so be sure to get in those doors to score a pint of any draught beer for half off.

  1.  Lemongrass Fusion Bistro – 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm to close

TWO HAPPY HOURS?! Is this real life? The answer is yes. Yes it is. From 3 pm to 7 pm AND 9 pm to close, grab an appetizer or a sushi roll for half off, along with all wine glasses for $6, and $1 off  all beer. The seas, heavens, and clouds have parted.

  1. Black Point Restaurant  – 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

With a stellar combination of drinks and shareables, Black Point is a must in the Short North. $6 cocktails and martinis, and select bar plates and sushi rolls starting at $4.

  1. Hubbard Grille – 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

This cozy spot sits in the heart of the Short North. With half price shareables, beer, cocktails and bottles of wine, it’s a perfect spot to relax after a day’s work.

  1. Marcella’s – 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

It’s no secret that us gals at A-list Introductions love Cameron Mitchell restaurants, but that’s because they are soooooo good. This happy hour only applies to the patrons at the bar, so be sure to snag a bar seat for half price select food and drinks. It’s a unique selection every day, so who knows what they’ll be serving!

  1. Milestone 229 – 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm (bar and patio only)

This place is a real gem. The open air atmosphere paired with great hand-crafted cocktails and cuisine makes a perfect relaxation spot after work. Head over and enjoy $4 drafts and $5 cocktails and wine.

  1. El Camino Inn – 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

This little Tex-Mex gem lives in the heart of South 4th Street, right next to 16-Bit Bar + Arcade, Dirty Frank’s, Little Palace, and so much more. El Camino beats out its next door competitors for their happy hour: $2 Modelo, Tecate, Corona and Lonestar cans, plus their $4 Paloma margaritas, $2 shots of El Toro, and $2 well drinks. Simply awesome.

  1. Flatiron Bar & Diner –  4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (bar and patio only)

This bar and diner hits close to home (or work)! Centered in the heart of the Arena District, you can never go wrong with this little pie wedge place. With a comfy and cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and awesome cocktails, go stop in for $2 domestic bottles,  $3.50 drafts, $2 well liquors, and $5 specialty martinis. Perfection!
